Bunny Ears

Remember the old school antennas people used to use on their TVs? The ones you would put tin foil on or hold a certain way to get better reception? This is the modern day version...and how we watch TV at our house (especially if it's windy outside!).

You see...we don't have cable. This is for a few reasons: we wouldn't have enough time to really watch it, if we had it we would waste time watching it, between Netflix and Hulu you can watch just about anything you want on your own time minus the commercials and mainly because I'm too cheap to pay for it.

So, we have a converter box and a lovely antenna. Sometimes the reception is not amazing, and unlike when we had analog television, the signal doesn't just go fuzzy. With the fancy shmancy digital signal it actually completely breaks up, freezes and stops playing. We've found that sometimes moving your body around a bit makes the signal come back.

Tonight we were trying to watch Friends (our favorite nightly rerun) and the signal kept breaking up. We found ourselves laying like this trying to get it to come back. :-)
