Before and After, Table

I mentioned this project a week or so ago, and it's done - almost, we're thinking about putting a sealer on it, but it's done enough for now! :-)

We forgot to take a picture of the table before we started sanding it! Bummer! (or for my uncle, atones!)

Random side story: that's pronounced uh-tone-ace, and is the first word that comes up on our cell phones when we try to text message bummer (which we do a lot). We think it's odd, because how many people are more likely to want to text atones to each other than bummer? So now, we just text atones, when we mean bummer.

Now back to our regularly scheduled blog post. Since we forgot to take a picture before we started sanding (wish we would have, it was bad news!) we got a picture of it once it was all nice and sanded.


Pretty, but lacking something....oh yeah, the stain.

Now that's one fancy schmancy looking table! All it needs is a cute little lamp for next to our couches and it will be perfect!!! :-)
